Restrict cigarette availability

Before I start, I'm a smoker. Tobacco products should be treated as dangerous drugs and their availability should be restricted to licensed premises as is the case with alcohol. Sales from corner stores should be outlawed. 1  out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?

I'm not a smoker & I don't see why that's relevant.

You are of course correct that Tobacco contains some dangerous drugs, I don't see that as reason to restrict (by law) its availability.

I started smoking as a child and found the case is true now. It is too easy for children to get a hold of. If we can cut the rate of smoking by even 30%, the health costs saved would mount up over the years. Many people begin smoking in their younger years. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
