This is absolutely undemocratic... It's a racist policy - and frankly offensive and patronising to aboriginals to imply they can't get elected without a quota.

There should also be a quota for woman. And one for homosexuals. And one for recent immigrants. And a quota for blue collar workers. Actually lets suspend elections because I think I can probably name all the key people that I'd like to have in parliament. ;-)

At this moment in time there have been 6 out of 35 votes favourable toward this idea. However that isn't really fair because votes cast by aboriginies and people who have a special insight into the needs of aboriginies should receive an extra quota of the votes. So in reality it is probably more like 20 out of 35 in favour.
