Fully subsidise PV sytems on housing to feed back into the grid. Make it compulsory on new houses and retrofit existing houses starting in areas where the grid feed in is under pressure. 40  out of 59 found this valuable. Do you?

Another benefit of PV installations on the roof of residential housing is the insulating effects. In summer, less heat into the roof space and in winter, less heat leaching out.
Mybe the Governemtn should take property rights over all residential roofing to install PV cells for power, and harvest rainfall for the public water needs.

We could expand this to include wind generators as well. Then there would be the benefit of both. A lot of cold days are windy. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
