Give Kevin Rudd a fair go! He cannot repair the damage of 11 years of misgovernance in a few months, but he has done so well thus far, imagine what he can achieve in the next 11 years.

I think some of the subjects on this site have become tainted by flood votes within the last 24 hours. A select few topics have suddenly received roughly 100 votes in a very short time (considering the current overall level of participation across the site). I doubt the sudden "popularity" of these topics is due to large numbers of people agreeing with them.
I propose that the current votes for all topics be returned to zero, and some sort of restriction put into place as to who can vote. Either require a name, email address validation and CAPTCHA, or even full site registration, so that each person can only vote once per topic. With the current system, it doesn't take much to clear cookies and revote on a topic more than 100 times! |

Thanks for the offer .... but I'll give it a swerve for the time being. :-)
