I assume by "Gay" rights you mean civil rights.

Australia should immediately enact legislation which gives equal civil rights to all people in a relationship, regardless of gender or sexual preference.

Couples in a mutual support and habitation relationship for longer than two years should have all legal and civil right accorded to a heterosexual married or defacto couple.

Even elderly siblings or older people who are co-habiting should be able to enter into a civil contract to share rights and benefits.
