Constitutionally clarify the war powers

Our constitution should be clearer about which organ of government (ie parliament, cabinet, prime minister, the queen) has the power to declare wars on behalf of Australia and to send troops abroad.

War should only be declared by the people, not by some 'representative'. If national plebiscite decided the outcome there would rarely be a war. Anyway, the 1901 Constitution did not give this power to the Prime Minister and executive. Secondly, the Constitution disallows placing the interests of foreign powers ahead of Australians; and thirdly, such matters should be the subject of referenda. As such, the Iraq and Afghan wars are illegal; as are deregulation, privatisation, all UN Treaties; signing of the Oil Price Parity Agreement on Australian oil; tariff removal and floating of the dollar. Obviously, Government does not care what we think.

Take The War On Drugs to the Source

How about we stop the war on drug distribution and fight the war where the drugs come from.

How about we put some of that great genetic engineering into creating a blight on the opium poppy and cocaine plant.

If Afghanistan, Burma and Columbia suddenly find their crops dead, the really deadly drugs will dry up.

This would be Positive Genetic Modification. Might even work on the tobacco plant, as well.

The opiium poppy is not the problem, the problem is the the refined product, heroin, being sold on the black market in a billion dollar crime network that launders its profits through legitimate corporations. The legal opium poppy crop, like that in Tasmania, is essential to supply morphine for medical use. Like the hemp plant and the coca vine, the prohibition of opium growing supports crime and retards health research.

We have a global bank account that all countries contribute some of their military spending to which then goes to space exploration, so eventually all countries spend money close to all of their military budgets on this program and and we explore outerspace as one race.

Let's not dick around. Tracking and observing is all well and good, but its not enough. Use the military to actually stop the Japanese from their "research".

Numbers have probably increased a bit during the last 20 years, since the Soviet Union is no more, but many species are still in the Endangered or Threatened categories.
